María José Díaz Videla
(Jessi)

María José is the founder and CEO of  Muxia Custom Cargo (import/export company). She is a board member of Argentina Customs Brokers Center.

She is deeply committed to supporting social causes. She volunteers in organizations such as Refugio Adopciones Quilmes y Mascoteras de Alma, which helps homeless dogs and cats; she is a sponsor for the Colonia Cuña Piru School through Apaer (Sponsors Association of rural schools); she works closely with Los del Camino and Founchild for Los Wichis Communities in Formosa and Salta regions in Argentina.

Through her work and education in Family Constellations (family system therapy), she discovered that her father was born into the indigenous Quechua community. Although this has increased her interest in indigenous communities, her motivation stems from her deep commitment to social justice.

She has studied theater for seven years and currently is studying stand-up comedy.

We’d like to thank The Puffin Foundation for their support of this project.
